The Senate Will Hold 8th Session of the 4th Legislature on Thursday

PHNOM PENH: The Senate is set to open the 8th session of the 4th legislature at 8 AM on Thursday, with five agendas. Permanent Member and Spokesman of the Senate, Bun Neang, told reporters that the Standing Committee of the Senate met under the high chairmanship of the President of the Senate, Say Chhum, and after reviewing and discussing, the Standing Committee decided to set the 8th session for Thursday with the following agenda:

1. Listening to the report of the Standing Committee on the activities and work results of the Senate between the 7th and 8th sessions.

2. Recognition of the new senators to replace the late Lady Excellency O Sokhom.

3. Election of members of the Economic, Financial, Banking and Audit Committee of the Senate for the fourth term.

4. Examine and comment on the Draft Law on the Amendment of the Law on Commercial Enterprises.

5. Review and comment on the Draft Law on the Amendment of the Law on Trade Rules and Business Registration.

6. Review and comment on the Draft Law on the Approval of the Free Trade Agreement Between the Royal Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Government of the Republic of Korea.
